The Students for the Exploration and Development of Space (SEDS) is an organization full of passionate students looking to push the boundaries of space exploration in diverse ways. Join us as we kick off our first annual Space Symposium Day as we look back at the strides our community has made in space exploration.

Rupal Nigam
2019-20 SEDS President

Rupal is a computer scientist passionate about space exploration and technologies. Her goals include writing software and creating applications that help improve society and further technological advances. She is the current president of SEDS, founder and former team lead of CLAWS, and has contributed to BLUE, BLiSS, and MXL.

Sahil Farishta
2019-20 SEDS Head of Projects

Sahil is the Head of Projects for SEDS and has done software work for CLAWS, BLUE, BLiSS, and MXL, along with serving as the first software lead for CLAWS after helping found the organization. As a computer scientist and aerospace engineer, he works on combining the two fields in order to expand our capabilities in space exploration.
