Abbhinav “Abbhi” Muralidharan is a spacecraft systems engineer and flight controller at the NASA Johnson Space Center. Abbhi is a certified Avionics flight controller for the Artemis program, which will send the next cadre of astronauts to the lunar surface. He will be part of the Artemis 1 flight control team, and will be performing various roles for real-time support including one of his favorite tasks of downlinking pictures and videos that the spacecraft will be taking around the moon. Abbhi spent his childhood in both Los Angeles and Chennai, India. He earned both his Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Electrical Engineering at the University of Michigan. He is passionate about equity in engineering, youth outreach and education, and enjoys venturing into the outdoors in his free time.
