Mike Liemohn
Director

I am a professor in the Department of Climate and Space Sciences and Engineering as well as the Director of the University of Michigan Space Institute, a new entity to bring together faculty, staff, and students from around campus that conduct space science and engineering. My scientific interests include studying the transport of electrically charged particles through planetary space environments, combining numerical models with ground-based and satellite data sets to better understand space physics and predict space weather.
