Hannah Weiss

Hannah Weiss is pursuing her master’s degree in Industrial and Operations Engineering at the University of Michigan. Her past work includes contextually relevant human factors research at NASA’s Johnson Space Center to improve astronaut crew living and working conditions through injury and risk prevention. Her current research investigates advancing the use of wearables and extended reality (XR) technologies to transform astronaut workflow in various Intravhehicular/Extravehicular (IVA/EVA) applications for current and future deep-space missions. She is an active member of the Stirling Research group, which brings together methods from human factors, biomechanics, and robotics.
